FATCA is an acronym for Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”), a United States Federal law to increase compliance by US taxpayers and is intended to bolster efforts to prevent tax evasion by the US taxpayers with a United States Federal law to increase compliance by US taxpayers offshore investments.
In short, this step is required to identify if your account is an Indian account or from any other country and make the necessary due diligence, if required.
Confirm Selection In case of Lump Sum Investment
Review and confirm the fund details before you purchase.
Select Payment Method
Select payment option from Net Banking & UPI. Enter Investment Amount and Broker code if case of regular investment.
In case of UPI
Enter VPA in case of UPI payment method and wait till system verify your VPA and tick mark in green appears next to your entered VPA.
In Case of SIP Investment
In case of SIP investment, select periodicity in which investment needs to be done such as monthly or quarterly, enter the SIP amount, select Day of the month, Start date & End date
For regular schemes ARN and EUIN is compulsory. Confirm in case the EUIN is intentionally kept blank. ARN code and EUIN no. helps to track and identify the advisor’s name and the RM of the advisory firm.
Before making the purchase, you will get the information you have entered earlier as a Summary.
Confirm it to complete the transaction.
Transaction Request No.
Once you confirm this step, a transaction number is generated.
Keep this transaction request number for any future references regarding this transaction done using Canara Robeco’s Online Portal.
