Brief Experience: Mr. S. Raman, presently the Chairman & Managing Director of Canara Bank.

Mr. Raman had joined Bank of India in 1974. He also had two stints overseas when he was serving Bank of India - at Jersey (UK) from 1983 to 1987 and as Chief Executive of Bank of India's US Operations from June 2005 to October 2008. He was elevated as Executive Director of Union Bank of India in October 2008 where he oversaw treasury, corporate credit and transaction banking, among others.

Mr. Prabhu during his career has headed various functions within Canara Bank such as DGM of Patna Circle, Head of Treasury Mid-Office etc. He also had an overseas stint with Canara Bank as Chief Executive of Hong Kong Branch from December 2007 to October 2009.
